Programme Description This qualification recognises individuals with the foundational skills required to work in the Transport and Logistics industry. It covers key competencies such as basic cargo handling, freight despatch, map reading, route navigation, packaging and securing cargo, operating a forklift, and performing calculations for logistics operations. Learners also gain essential workplace skills, including customer service, business ethics, computer literacy, and communication. Health and safety are integral to this qualification, with additional training in basic First Aid, HIV and AIDS awareness, and workplace safety practices.
Qualification Requirements This qualification will be awarded to students credited with a minimum of 87 credits, and who have met the requirements of the programme.
