Programme Description This qualification recognises individuals with the skills to perform tasks in Telecommunication and Wireless Technology. It covers understanding of mobile and terrestrial technologies, satellite communication, digital concepts, data communication principles, TCP/IP fundamentals, and both wired and wireless networks. Learners will also gain hands-on skills in installing telecom devices and cables, working with customer premises equipment, and applying safety procedures. Programme Description This qualification certifies individuals with the skills to carry out advanced Telecommunication and Wireless Technology tasks. Learners will gain in-depth knowledge of signal applications, broadband and wireless network technologies, antenna systems, VSWR, and radio frequency bands. It includes practical skills in underground cable installation, copper and fibre optic splicing, network monitoring, and maintaining telecom cables. Learners will also understand fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and develop entrepreneurial skills by creating and planning business opportunities.
