Programme Description
This qualification recognises individuals with the advanced skills required for web development. Learners will gain competencies in advanced HTML coding, executing complex database queries, and developing server-side web applications. It also includes the use of content management systems (CMS) and principles of fault tolerance and disaster recovery to ensure secure and reliable websites.
In addition to technical expertise, learners will develop entrepreneurial skills by learning how to identify business opportunities and create business plans, preparing them for both employment and self-employment in the digital industry.

This qualification will be awarded to students credited with a minimum of 63 credits, and who have met the requirements of the programme.

- School leavers who have obtained a minimum of 25 points in the NSSCO examinations or the equivalent thereof and who wish to pursue a career in Information Technology
- Students who have completed a Level 4 qualification in ICT—Web Development (Level 4)
- Individuals already employed in the field of ICT but without formal qualifications.
